Welcome to Silent Confess. The following Terms of Use govern your use of our anonymous confession platform. By accessing or using Silent Confess, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

By accessing or using Silent Confess, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of Silent Confess after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

While Silent Confess provides an anonymous platform, users are still responsible for the content they post. You agree not to post content that:

• Constitutes spam, phishing attempts, or malware distribution
• Intentionally deceives or misleads other users

2.2 Local Laws

Users are responsible for complying with all applicable laws in their jurisdiction when using Silent Confess. The anonymous nature of our platform does not exempt users from legal accountability for illegal activities.

2.3 Security

You agree not to breach or attempt to breach the security of Silent Confess, including:

• Accessing data not intended for you
• Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the system
• Attempting to interfere with service to any user, host, or network

3. Intellectual Property

Silent Confess and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Silent Confess and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

3.1 User Content

By posting content on Silent Confess, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media.

3.2 Copyright Complaints

If you believe that material available on Silent Confess infringes on your copyright, please notify us with the following information:

• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• A description of where the material is located on the site
• Your contact information
• A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf

4. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

4.1 As-Is Basis

Silent Confess is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

4.2 No Guarantees

We make no warranty that:

• The service will meet your requirements
• The service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from using the service will be accurate or reliable

4.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Silent Confess shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the service
• Any content obtained from the service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

5. Privacy

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Silent Confess immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

7. Client-Side Storage Model

Silent Confess operates using client-side storage (localStorage) in your browser. You understand and acknowledge that:

• Content you create is stored locally on your device, not on our servers
• Clearing your browser's data or localStorage will permanently delete your posts
• Posts are only visible on the device they were created on, unless explicitly shared
• We have no ability to recover lost content if you clear your browser data

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
